You have more strong evidences as compared to police reports

I applied in dec 18. And my ead expired on Mar 19

Wow.... thank you 🙏🏻  I hope you are right. I known the journey is long and I have really dark days but I’m grateful for all the support that I found here.

I was told that it "may" speed up the process if you have police reports or a restraining order but it's not a requirement. I know someone who doesn't have any other strong evidence, no psychological evaluation or a police report,  but a well written affidavit. She filed VAWA in 2016 and got approved. These people are trained to see the pattern of abuse. Quality > Quantity. Also, God sees your pain. He is on your side.

I also saw cases like that. I have to believe that after all the abuse I had to go through they will be fair. 🙏🏻

Hello everyone, hope all is going well. With the same standard and usual message from USCIS to my Congresswoman.

I have contacted my senator and USCIS ombudsman but still zero response. Hoping and praying 🙏🙏 🙏 for the best.

Hi all. I am new here. I am wondering if someone can walk me through the VAWA process. My cousin came here on a fiance visa, before he received his conditional green card he decided he had to leave his new wife because she has been abusing him. I want to help him get VAWA. Where do I start? They have their interview scheduled soon which I am going to try to reschedule.

Has anyone gone to a marriage based interview WITHOUT filing the vawa and has said to the IO that they plan to file the Vawa in few days asked the IO to put the 485 on hold ?

I went there although I had filed I didn't have the receipt,  it was denied after I requested him to put on hold, because I didn't have the receipt.  He told me he needed evidence to show the notice of action from the I 360. So I had to file afresh.

Hi VJ family I just received this email 5mins. ago and I am crying! After a year, finally I am getting my EAD! Can someone please explain why I didn’t get a notice of approval of my I-360 but instead I got the email about my card production. Does it mean my I-360 is approve now?  @sandranj @Stillwinning!!!😊E6E08977-2B61-4C61-B360-0B193890C1B0.thumb.jpeg.5907b00e939059da0d95ab53f13d0304.jpeg

This reads as an approval for I-765.  When I received Card Production notification, it said I-360

Every case is different, this is my own experience... I had my interview base on I130-I485 back in Nov 07 2017. My ex did not want to go with me, so just my attorney and myself... for me it was a very rough interview, during the interview my attorney showed to the IO the whole VAWA package and the FedEx receipt, date on it... Nov 03 2017, I did not have a I360 receipt it notice. So at the end of the interview the IO asked my attorney..." I have to deny the I130, what do you want me to do with the I485?" of course she said, please put it on hold... this is one of my miracles in my life

My VAWA receipt date... Nov 17 2017... now I am waiting for my AOS interview :)

But as I said before, every case is different, be strong and believe in yourself!!!!

If it has been more than two years, they should have sent you a letter to redo your biometrics

Did you have the receipt from the post office or the fedex to show to him ?

I understand you didn’t have the receipt from Vermont but would the post office receipt had not been enough ?
