She took all original of her documents away when she left but I have copies of them in my AOS file including marriage certificate..hope that works

Copies worked for me... also if you have text messages with her... good ones and bad ones, make a screen shot and explain wit your own words what is going on in those texts, if it is in another language translate it to English.. that is what I have done as part of my affidavit... also get friends and relatives if you have...ask the to put down in a letter what they know about the relationship good or bad and got with then and notarize those letters...

hope this help for you, I have done that, thinking... I did not have enough evidence... the best for you!!!

Good Morning Folks

I would like to know among people who went for Interview or have any knowledge , did any officer take your I94 card out of your passport?

Because in my case they never took from me.

Hi everyone

How many of you had your i-360 approved without police report attached as proof of abuse? I know it’s not necessary but sometimes I struggle with my thoughts wondering if I had enough evidence. :(

I attached

•1 psychological evaluation

•1 affidavit from my therapist

•1 report from my doctor stating that in a routine check up  I was visibly disturbed due to the psychological abuse I was being exposed and  my baby daughter’s safety

•1 ER report stating  that my husband punched me on the face

• pictures of my eye injured

• 4 affidavits of friends ( one of them was in my house when he punched me )

• Text message begging for help to our attorney due to his crazy behavior

• Facebook message asking help to a well know  therapist specialized in treat victims of psychopaths ( she is my therapist now)

For bona fide marriage

• marriage certificate

• lease agreements

• family pictures

• our baby birth certificate

• statements showing him transferring money to my bank account

• receipts showing him buying and shipping furnitures to our new apartment under my name

• car insurance

• affidavit of friends

• affidavit of my obstetrician stating that he was with me in monthly appointments during my whole pregnancy

• prenup agreement

It will do you good to stop worrying unnecessarily about how long your list of evidence should be or shouldn't be! Don't drive yourself crazy! Each case is unique and as such you don't have to have as much documents as the next person or as little as another... I can tell you right now that I didn't have some of the things in your list..no police record..just my psychological evaluation of 3pages! Submit all you've got as you cannot manufacture what you don't have, then let God handle the rest!🙏😊👍

Thank you for you support 🙏🏻

I get really anxious sometimes because the reason that I have to stay here is to protect my daughter. He will never allow me to go back to my country with her. I have really bad days imagining the worst. 😔

I was told that it "may" speed up the process if you have police reports or a restraining order but it's not a requirement. I know someone who doesn't have any other strong evidence, no psychological evaluation or a police report,  but a well written affidavit. She filed VAWA in 2016 and got approved. These people are trained to see the pattern of abuse. Quality > Quantity. Also, God sees your pain. He is on your side.

Hi VJ family

I’m reading a lot of success stories congrats to you all and positive energy towards everyone still waiting.

Does it matter if your abuser becomes a citizen after you submit the I-360 petition?

Should you notify Uscis?

It's always good to send in updates..with a notarized letter informing USCIS of new developments! I don't know how they operate but it doesn't hurt to update them..we also have an attorney here who will probably address your concern from a legal angle!👍😊

Hey family today I got an interview date!  Though am confused at the stuff they are asking me to bring. to take evidence of abuse is it normal amongst so many stuff, amongst other documentations is it the procedure? @sandranj @Gogetter18 @Stillwinning!!!😊 @FridayGirl@69

Very normal! I took all with me to my interview, the officer took my original Divorce Decree,

and review there my Passport, Birth Certificate, my 1st Divorce Decree, he asked me for daughters Birth Certificates and review my Affidavit and asked me Questions about my Ex- and if I was still talking to me...than he said Interview over you will hear the final decision on your case between 15-120 days... I got my answer after 5 excruciating days waiting for it. It was a harsh interview, my lawyer intervine 3 times and the Officer left us alone 3 times... I was May/17 packet Filler, I360 Approval 10/29/18, Interview 8/14/19, final decision 8/19/19.

congratulations! now just wait for your approval notice 🇺🇸💫
