Hi Dear Friends,

Just wondering if everyone received the same receipt from Vermont.

Also my last update on USCIS is”On August 13, 2019, we received your case and waived the filing fee for your Form I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant, Receipt Number EACxxxxxxxx.

We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. “

Please follow the instructions in the notice.

If you do not receive your receipt notice by September 12, 2019, contact the USCIS Contact Center at www.uscis.gov/contactcenter

If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I filed on December 2018,  so i have a long way to go (waiting, they said 24 months)

USCIS told you 24months?😏 nah! I'm sure whoever said that meant to say it can take up to that...basically anywhere from 16months...in the past, few persons got approved in 14months...we all pray for speedy approvals! Always look on the positive side!😊🙏

Hey  Guyz... I have a quick question..I’m separated from my wife based on abuse and I’m about to file for Vawa...My current i130 and i485 is still very active and I’be just been scheduled for an interview without EAD..It’s over 9 months now without EAD and I’ve not been able to work or get socials to add my abusive wife to documents...Now with these Vawa application how do I prove Bona Fide marriage with the little documents I have ?

Below are the list of joint documents I have without socials or EAD

* Joint Bank Statements

* Joint Amazon Prime Account

* Car Title with both our names

* Pictures of Amazon and USPS package delivery with her names on our address

* Car Insurance with both our names

* Pictures of some of her mails coming into the mail box through USPS informed delivery  and little pictures of both of us together wedding pictures inclusive

 Are all these enough for prove of Bona Fide Marriage? I have shelter and doctor records for prove of abuse and I’m already going through therapy as well

Hi , does anyone filed i360 while in removal proceedings?

Several people on visa journey filed VAWA while in removal proceedings but you can’t adjust status with USCIS  if the removal is still open.Once Vawa is approved contact the USCIS counsel and ask him to sign the  petition  to terminate the proceedings,then you will be able to adjust status with USCIS, or adjust status with the Immigration Court.

Thank you,

My question is if i360 is approved,  and i485 needs to be adjusted with court,  will it be approved on the spot ?
