My lawyer filed on June 6, got an RFE on July 3, they received a response to RFE on Aug 6... waiting to hear back. I haven’t got my EAD or nothing, don’t know if that’s typical.

I don’t know if I qualify to give advice, but it  might be a good idea to arm yourself with a lawyer.

hang in there!

O nice. Did he actually review your affidavit after you wrote it? I was contemplating Jonathan dunten from the Bay but he was $$$$$$$$$$

Hey guys,

should I add my marriageI-485 receipt and I-130 receipt to my Vawa package and submit them ?

And should i include my birth and passport bio page to the vawa application?

yes, add I-130 and I-485 receipt  to your vawa package, after your I-360 got approve, you will get your interview faster than  those who didn't add those receipt to their package, good luck.

Well his partner had me describe all the events starting from how I met my husband to date and made a draft. I made a draft as well. My lawyer then helped me finalize it. A lot of other inputs from other sources went into the package. That’s why I think a lawyer is a good idea. I needed someone ASAP so I didn’t do a lot of research but I’m not unhappy with my choice of lawyer - he is usually available by text. Having said that I am not vouching for one or another atleast not until I get my green card 😬

Hello! I haven’t received an appointment for finger prints. I got the i765 notice describing how they will process it, with a date of June 6.

The RFE was for good faith marriage and good moral character.

So I just stepped outside my house to get my mails..behold a letter from Commissioner of jurors office saying I am required by law to fill out the form for a prospective juror service..and that my name was selected at random!!!😳 ok my question is..who's gonna tell these people that I'm not a U.S. citizen..and I'm just a poor country girl waiting to get her interview in peace!😭😭😥😥 I prefer to be left alone! I don't wanna be a juror!!! HELP!!!😞

don't even have a Greencard!😳 that should disqualify me..really don't know how it works..guess I'll just fill it out and send to them!

Save a photocopy before you send the form back.

Your checking "I am not a U.S. citizen" is good evidence to have, in general.

By the way, reporting for jury duty is much like (or even worse than) undergoing a colonoscopy without sedation.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Guys, what to write and what not to.. It was one of that shaking day where pain of 5 years was felt repeatedly many times. Today morning the thriller call from attorny office and then USCIS website down for hours, Now I checked.. and found below message on my I-485 Case no.

"On August 28, 2019, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EACxxxxxxxxxx  and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. "

What does it mean.. I am thinking positive with tears  (of thanks to Almighty Lord Jesus) in my eyes😪.

I will give my timeline later once I have something tangible in hand.

Yaay! They approved it, no worries, you are good, when I read your text earlier I just told God to go ahead and make the impossible possible
