I was responding to some who posted that on nvc as of 12 august 2019 they r reviewing case send in july 25, 2019 I was telling them that is not true they r just reviewing case send in july 9, 2019

Well the NVC site here https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/after-petition-approved/begin-nat-visa-center.html

Clearly states As of 12-AUG-2019 we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 25-JUL-2019.  What you are talking about are they dates for NVC to review documents. That is a different date! OP is asking about NVC receiving the petition from USCIS

It has been over 30 days for us still no word, I have requested Buy email an update at NVCINQIRE@state.gov seems they were flooded with so many approvals, so obviously we need to be patient.

I tried sending an inquiry regards with my case thru email at NVCExpedite@state.gov, they responded after 3 days. However, I inquired too soon and they said they haven't received my file yet. You can try sending inquiries at NVCExpedite@state.gov, they reply faster than NVCInquire@state.gov

They sent me a reply BUT said we should not use this email address to inquire this a non-expedite case. BUT they sent me a web site to inquire about our case...

On their website it says they're working on cases that were received on Aug 16, which was the date they received my case. It's Friday now, and still nothing. How long does it take them to do this? And no one is picking up the phone at their office.....

I did get an email back but got our email already with our case number and we have already submitted everything waiting for a response now if we will be approved. Someone else told me they were approved in 22 days after submission.

I received notice from the USCIS that my petition was sent on 10/9.... when do you think would be a good time to call or send them an email for the case number?

We was approved August 8th it was sent to the National visa center on August 13th we received our email on September 30th. So that was about 7 weeks. I sent my email request after 30 days. But I took over a month to get a reply, so that method this useless to us being we got our case number before that!

Thanks for letting me, so I just need to be patient. It just sees like some petitions are assigned case numbers faster than other.
