Visa is valid for 6months and you can enter the US from the day you get a hold of your visa until the last day it is valid. Your decision when to enter the US. Can't leave though until you get the GC or AP approval.

thank you ....

Hello all,

I am very nervous why it is taking so long for our case to move forward to receive packet 4.

Has anyone else gone through this and waited long for packet 4 to be sent.

I'm afraid I won't make it to December interviews either.

this is the response I got for the inquiry I sent in.

Based on the responses you're getting I'd say your best course of action would be to stop bugging them. Wait for Packet 3.

Removal of conditions

05-02-23 I-751 sent via FedEx.

05-03-23 I-751 delivered to USCIS address in Tempe AZ.

05-09-23 Check for $680 cashed.

05-15-23 Received I-797 NOA (48-month extension). A separate letter saying biometrics to be re-used. A third letter giving online access code.

Hello!

so sorry to hear that you are still waiting. I never actually received a hard copy of packet 4. I had to call and then they emailed me right away. I’ve heard of this before. Not sure why it happens. Give them a call. Once I called and received packet 4 I wished I had done so earlier - was being patient, but I felt like it ended up costing me valuable time in the end.

best of luck

Had my medical done on Thursday Nov 21. Easy process. Staff at the clinic were so super friendly and helpful!

Was surprised to see an email from them on Friday morning advising me that my results were available for pick up. Was under the impression that they took a week.

My upcoming interview is on Wednesday - sooooo nervous. Hoping I have my visa in hand shortly thereafter.

cheers.

Oh my, I remember getting a real ‘run-around’ when trying to find out who to talk to. I think I called the Montreal number. I know I called CEAC too. My best suggestion would be to call Montreal (google the consulate - I don’t think the number has changed) and advise then that you believe your P4 has been misplaced or lost in the mail. They will advise you who to call if they don’t have the answer.

Best of luck

Yes, I remember correctly your appt is at 830 and mine is at 730. I’m really sweating bullets now. I just want everything to be organized and not have any vicious during the process.

cheers!

Right?! Now I am debating: do I pic the records up at 7am sharp on Weds to make my 730am appt. (medisys is only about 8 min walk from consulate office) or do I go downtown twice (much dread).

If you happen to see me there come say Hi! My name is Stacey and I’ll have 2 kids in tow.

wishing you a smooth interview!

I would go downtown twice. When I picked up my medical last week I had to stand around for a few minutes while the staff was with patients that were actually being seen that day.

If it helps, the lady at the Medysis desk told me I could show up as early as 6:45 to pick them up. My appointment isn't until 8:30, so personally I'll be hopping in at 7, then going back to my hotel to leave all my things before the interview.

Thanks for the tip! I think you’re right, going beforehand could cause some undue stress. Thanks for the tip

Oh I would totally do the same if my appt was at 830. For sure. Being that I am in at 730 I’ll just go tomorrow. Why risk it, right?

Just picked up my visa from purolator! I would have had it yesterday but I was at work when they tried to deliver it.

Also, if it’s helpful to anyone else, I didn’t have any problems crossing the border this weekend. Obviously I didn’t have my passport so I used my enhanced license and that is what I’ll be using going forward until moving day.

Thanks everyone for all the help in getting to this point!
