F-1 holder Deported from US in March 2015, will be done graduation from South Korea by 2020. And want apply for Masters to Canadian University around  2020-2021. US deportation could make effect to get Canadian student visa?   even after 5 years?

Should I mention my US deportation history in Canadian embassy application form?

If they ask then you will have to answer.

There was a question on my wife's Canada Visa Application in 2018:

Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country or territory?

If yes, provide details.

The Canadian Study Permit application asks if you have ever been ordered to leave Canada or any country.   You will have to answer truthfully on the application.

The US shares immigration information with Canada.  Hiding your deportation would be an automatic rejection for lying.

Presumably, your deportation will be considered for your Canadian Student Visa.  They wouldn't explicitly ask for that information if it didn't matter.

It would be reasonable to assume it will be a factor.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Not really. Only US by 2015. After this I have arrived in South Korea to complete my study. And, in between, I have travelled Japan twice, Indonesia twice, France once. In mid time, I was rejected for Japan visa, but I already travelled there again. My files is clear I hope, and I'm a government paid researcher im South Korea under the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF).   And I got national award from Korean national innovation competition. And I'll complete my  "Railway Engineering" by 2020.  I have founded Model UN club, I have joined TEDx as well.

Why I'm saying  all this to explain, I made a  figure here, it could be considerable for Canadian immigration in the case of US deportation?

It does not matter when it occurred.  You were deported and you need to disclose it.

Also US and Canada certainly share immigration information.

It would be a fact,  if I apply for work permit? or  skill migration? even!

The fact is you were deported.  In many situations it considered showing a lack of character.  You chose not to abide by the terms of your US visa.

There are plenty of applicants that can follow laws.  Every country that asks about denials, refusals and removals will take into consideration the details.

Aha! Thank you so much for your replying, I got some idea for my next step.

I heartily appreciate it. Thanks.

I hope your plans include English language study to improve your English. For admission to a Canadian University you will need to prove your language proficiency. That means a 6.0-7.0 band on IELTS and/or 500-600 on the paper based TOEFL or 80-100 on the Internet based TOEFL. Based on what I've seen of your writing on this thread, your level of English is not there yet.

Good luck.

Being deported is more serious than just being refused entry. It means you actively did something in contravention of your visa conditions. You did that while on a student visa. It’s logical to think Canada will consider that factor in a student visa application, regardless where you vacationed or conferenced in the meanwhile.

Why were you deported?
