Hi. My fiancee has two first names and a middle name. I've filled out all the forms using her second first name as her middle name, not knowing of the extra name. How do I account for this extra name? Should I change the forms now inserting the two names in the first name space and adding the middle name? Thanks for the help!

Hello,

In my opinion I would do it just like her name is on her birthcertificate or her passport...

So if it doesn't fit in the box I would do an attachment. Put see attachment in the box, and

then add a page attachment to Question 1a or whatever. Be sure to have the information on the

attachment page I think name and birthdate, but call USCIS to get attachment information.

Good luck

I never known the people could have two names. If she has two names, then should fill all of names that she has.

My fiancee is also from the Philippines and she has two first names, as well. On our forms, I kept her name just as she told me it was and put her two first names under "First Name," her middle name (mother's maiden name) for "Middle Name," and finally her last name as her "Last Name." She actually has another middle name that for some reason never made it onto her birth certificate, and we sent a clarification letter signed by her indicating that we colloquially use this name, but it's not a legal portion of her name and thus that additional name was dropped from our official paperwork. Anyway, really and truly, I felt that she should have one first name and two middle names on the forms, but to avoid any point of contention, I kept it as she indicated it needed to be. We just got our NOA2 this week after just one touch since the check was cashed in March, so no problems with having two first names on the forms whatsoever. Sometimes we Americans need to think "outside the box" more often. I learn that every day, and not in a bad way. It's the beauty of having a fiancee that is from a different country. Frankly, I think I'd be bored with an American woman. Didn't realize it until I met Jacki, but I truly believe that now. Best wishes-

David
