Anyone got this email from USCIS???

Ok guys,

I`m here in US since Jan 19th, and yesterday we got this email from USCIS...

Im wondering what is it and if anyone got this email too... Also, I wonder if now, they have my name on the system and I would apply for my SSN...

Sounds like a mistake... you got your visa, your A file was in the brown envelope, and was sent to your file control office. Probably a case of punching in a wrong receipt number of a person whose case was really sent back.

Hi Carol,

Hope all is going well and that you are very happy here in the U.S. and with your S.O. About three or four days ago I say a VJ member post what look like a same e-mail he received about his fiancée and she has been here about 1 ½ to 2 month. Try a search it was here in the same section for K-1’s. Hope it is nothing of importance.

I just called USCIS and they don't have idea what this email means... The lady told me to hold the call to transfer to another customer representative that may help me, but the call just died after 10 min waiting...

I'm searching very hard for this post but I can't find it... Can you remember something else like Title's post or user??? I know you'll prolly won't but I really don't find any info abt whats goin on wiht my case...

I called uscis and they told me that they didnt know squat,so i called nvc they said it obviously was a mistake,so i hate to think they typed in the wrong receipt number and its for someone else, that wont get the e-mail it looka like someone got put in AR but might not know. Carol and I are waiting to see if we get something in the mail. Also the lady at NVC said that they didnt send USCIS anything geeeeez this could be a mess for someone!

I will try and look for it, it should be here in the K-1 section. The fiancee was from the Phillippines, I believe.
