what proof can I send??? I'm going crazy for real, how to proof the situation in Iraq if they already know what's happening ???

You cannot assume that NVC employees know of the situation. You can do a time table of the events, add a link to a credible news source to each (Reuters, AP, CNN...), explain the distance to your spouses home, and the impact that it had. You cannot expect an expedite to happen based on your word only. Covid is rampage everywhere and Iraq still on the lower end of infections per 100k, so I wouldn't use that. But the attacks for sure, with dates, links to news reports, and distance/impact on your spouse. Expedites are more likely to be granted if the petitioner suffers, so expand on the impact it has on you. If you are on any anti-anxiety meds and have a doctor that can attest to your declining situation based on the fear of losing your spouse, he should write a letter that you also attach in support of your hardship. The situation in Iraq is real, but it's on you to provide the proof and impact it has on you.

I feel you. Im not ok. I fear my husband will be killed.

Well you guys are at least together now and not in Iraq. You should ask your attorney to do the same what I described to Yusef above. Keep fighting and don't give up! We're doing the same until my husband is here...

He has to go back to Iraq soon.
I am not allowed to go to Iraq as I would be kidnapped and killed as well as my husband. I cannot explain or prove to anyone on VJ as it is too dangerous.
I was forced to leave Iraq when the USA killed Qasem Soleimani. We are only granted a short time in Turkey. We have been together very little since.

@Quarknase ur an LPN correct?  How did u cruise through the process so fast?  Im a USC and still waiting over 2 years.
I do not say this as a negative to you. I am just trying to understand why ppl like me are not getting approved.

I believe the main difference in our timelines is the I-130 processing time. I expedited at USCIS stage and the process took 107 days from filing to approval (including RFE), NVC case creation was immediately after approval since we filed the I-130 online. The NVC process was rather normal (approx. 3 months from case creation to DQ).

I see. Thank you for explaining.
unfortunately filing I130 online wasn’t an option when I filed.
I did see a lot of ppl get processed much faster with online filing. Im glad that is available now.
Wish the USGov would invest in modern technology faster. Lol

Yes, we filed I believe approx 2 weeks after the document became available for online filing. Many didn't know at this time, and as far as I know attorneys have been preferring paper filing still, not being convinced about the process until they started seeing first success.

We decided to go with it and didn't regret. We got a very weird RFE request to provide the signature page of the I-130 with wet signature 🤣 but this was only one point of the 5 pages long RFE so it didn't bother me and was the easiest fix.

I hope USCIS will continue this path of enabling more forms for online filing. But based on Mayorkas' statement from this week, they have bigger issues at the moment :(
