🤦‍♀️ My I130 was approved on June 6, today marks 60 days since approval. After 30 days we tried to contact nvc but to no avail until today after waiting on hold for 40 mins only to be told they don’t have our case or it can’t be found.... so now we where told to email a copy of the approval along with a letter sent it to Nvcresearch@state.gov and wait for a reply, anyone knows much longer this will take please😭

Did the USCIS send you anything in regards to them forwarding your case to the NVC? If not, I'd be contacting the USCIS, not the NVC

No we didn’t get anything and the app still shows petition was approved. But we called uscis a few days after the approval thinking they could correct an error and they said they no longer have our case which I assumed was sent to nvc

I would call again and get them to send a written statement to your email address stating that they have sent the case. It took them 11 days to send our case from the NVC, we received an email.

Very sorry you’re experiencing this. I hope this goes smoothly for you.

Same here, approved on May 17th, called NVC  a bunch of times, sent e-mails to their @nvcresearch address,  finally we realize they never received it, reps at NVC are terrible at articulating these important distinctions. We called USCIS finally, got a confirmation number for whatever request he put for us, told us our case never sent, although i see the last action on our case at USCIS acount to be 24th of May.  He told us to give 30 days for the case to be sent and created by NVC.

So it is 89 days and  counting for us, as well. We had no RFE, it seemed it was going to be slow but smooth from the approval date on. Nope.

Yikes, this is awful.

Did your case status ever change from Approved during this time?

No, it didn't,  actually, I had no idea there would be a new update after they send it, so we focused on NVC.

As of yesterday, that approval notice on USCIS also disappeared, it is just blank now. Case is still there with the last date it was touched /processed showing 24th of May and that's about it. Will update as we go through motions. Looks like  It's not too uncommon to happen from what I gathered across VJ.

What have you done to resolve this issue? Currently trying to call uscis but not able to reach a tier 2 officer i don’t know what am doing wrong

Hi !! Didn't realize you replied !

So far my husband  has been all hands on deck, we have filed service request with the NVC, USCIS and with our senator. They are very reluctant to help because it hasn't been 90 days yet, but we are planning to call again on monday (91 days) and kind of demand answers. I'll update everybody here on monday  ! Also kind of anxious about the new immigration laws coming into places, my husband's dad is supposed to financially vouch for me, I don't know if things are gonna change with this administration.... wondering if that could be the root of all this sudden "lost" paperwork....

With regards to the anxiety over the new rules, this made me feel a bit more at ease: https://www.boundless.com/blog/public-charge-rule-state-department-foreign-affairs-manual/

At ease how? Haha, currently reading the "How is the rule applied today" and low key freaking out. I have a high school diploma, so does my husband, he's a bike courier, I am a receptionist, his dad has his own business, but is on Medicare. I feel like we're gonna have problems.
