i recently set an appointment for my k1 visa interview but i noticed that the confirmation number was the one from my previous tourist visa application.. is there any way to fix it?

Here is two way to fix it:

 

Submit an inquiry at the CGI website, tell them your case number and your name and your new application ID, they will correct it.  https:/cgifederal.secure.force.com

 

Some had just followed the link  https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/applicanthome clicked on "Provide Feedback" on the menu on the left, chose "Online system errors" on the "reason" drop down menu, wrote about the discrepancy in my new DS-160 application number and the schedule confirmation they sent me in the "comments" box, and attached a photo of my DS-160 application confirmation. 10 minutes later I got an email with the a schedule confirmation that had the new DS-160 application number.

Accepted March 19, 2014 Text message with receipt numbers

Biometrics April 16, 2014 Biometrics completed

EAD May 23, 2014 Employment Authorization Document approved and went to card production

TD May 23, 2014 Travel Document approved and went for card production

Receipt EAD/AP May 30, 2014 Received combo card EAD/AP

Green Card Approved July 11, 2014 Approved, no interview. Went to card production.

Green Card received July 17, 2014 GC received without interview

Removal of Conditions

Mailed I-751 Dec 16, 2015 Submitted ROC (removal of conditions)

Received Dec 18, 2015 USPS notification of successful delivery

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

NOA-1 Issued Dec 26, 2015 NOA-1 Received

Biometrics Appt. Jan 29, 2016 Biometrics Appointment Scheduled [Completed]

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Doesn't need to be fixed.   Totally not an issue.  Don't worry on this.   Did you complete your new DS-160?  When you were completed the new DS-160 you print out the confirmation page  < that you bring to the interview.    No problem.

 

 

 

You should jump over to the Philippine forum to ask your questions related to the process for the Philippines, all  embassies do not process the K-1 exactly the same ... getting advice relating to a different embassy would equal bad advice for you at the embassy in Manila.
