You will get your welcome letter after 2 months. they are issuing welcome letter to those whose priority date is before 15 september2014 . u are near to welcome letter. when u notice that they are after 23 oct 2014. then contact with NVC as soon as possible, then they will send you an invoice ID and case number. after that u can start your processing .

I was in Canada when my parents filed for me F2B. we mentioned Canada address for me as I was living in Canada on study permit, where I will get welcome letter and interview letter in Canada or Pakistan? I am going to back Canada now. I am having work permit in Canada.

Thanks

You will receive letters through the address on your case. You can call NVC to give them your new home address or best still give them an active email address cause they work better with that

The approval speed of the petition is irrelevant for this category. No matter how fast or slow they approve it, it won’t progress to the next stage until the priority date is current. So it makes no difference whatsoever. These petitions are lower in priority for USCIS. IR petitions are priority for obvious reasons.

You have at least another 2 years to wait before the PD is current.

Hi hope you are fine, sorry it is out of the topic question. when my parents filed petition F2B for me I was in Canada. but my brother told me they put my address back home country. Is there any issue for me. I was on study permit in Canada now I am in back home and  having work permit in Canada now want to go back to Canada, I have to change my address or thats ok ? but my permanent address is back home country. Thanks
