I had a lovely day.....

got to choose films to watch all afternoon...

chose...Walk the line and Casablanca....... :thumbs:

and had my favourite meal cooked for me.....Roast Leg of Lamb... :lol:

Oh yes and a bottle of vino...of course...

Awww...ain't kids something else??? well my sons are both married and I suppose I am out-of-sight out-of-mind *sigh* .....but we had a good day too, went for an awesome drive in Redding, CA where we are working for a while....it was beautiful!!!

Happy Mum's day to everyone :-)

On this subject, I got a question for all of the UK born women... I'm assuming you have already moved to the US, or will be moving to the US at some point. Which mother's day would you prefer to be celebrated... the US one (this year it's May 14th), or the UK mother's day? Or are you going to be greedy and want both?

Dec 20, 2005 - NOA1 Notice Date

Dec 27, 2005 - NOA1 Rcv'd in Mail

Mar 10, 2006 - NOA2 Approved

Mar 23, 2006 - NVC Received Packet

Mar 24, 2006 - Case Forwarded to London Embassy

well in my case I can be greedy cos I will have children left here in the UK and one with me ... but If I didn't have any left in the UK then I would just assume the US Mother's day....although I did ring my Future MIL to wish her a happy Mother's Day cos I didn't want to leave her out...

Think I will always use the UK date 'cos my kids will be there.

And....my eldest just made my day, he just called me on Skype and sent me an awesome e-card....soooo I am happy now :D

Sept 2002 - 1st US visit - everything goes perfectly.

Dec 20th - Forms recev'd at CSC

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received
