I should have done it with signature confirmation.

All that I got was that my packet was delivered to USCIS on the 5th. No text message yet...

I've posted a couple times in this thread so I just wanted to give a final update on our case. On September 8 we got a notification that my husband was scheduled for his N-400 interview at the Charles

Applied for ROC on 8/23/19, application went to LIN, received notice today on 7/28/20 that card is being produced. No RFE, No interview   YAY!

Sorry, that all started on Friday, Aug. 2

That's what I wanted to hear! I was worried it would take long to receive the extension letter and I wouldn't be able to work

That sucks, it's more than likely that you will get it soon.

I got off the phone with USCIS.

They rejected the packet but I don't know why.

Well that was quick just got the case # text and will wait for the 797 in the mail an sit back , stand by and relax till interview or not I hope....This time around I am more relaxed and as always through this whole process from the K-1 till now we have nothing to hide , anything else they want we can provide , we are truly a very happily married couple so no worries....

Ugh. It's been 8 days since my packet was signed for and I also haven't heard anything. So what are they doing? Are they mailing you an explanation?

Was the number you called 800-375-5283? And did you just give them your alien number and they looked it up?

That's what I did.

Told them that I've been waiting for 8 days. So the representative looked up my case and she told me that it got rejected on the 8th and that a rejection notice is on its way.

Just wondering what it could be. Probably just something easy to fix.

UGH! I hate this!

 

I'm still not sure that they have our new address correctly. That's basically my main worry - I mean, I sorta trust that they would try to let me know if anything was wrong, but what if they send it to our old address that we don't have mail forwarded from anymore.

Did you do a Change of Address?

Hi, guys goodluck to everyone. My conditional Greencard is set to expire Nov 30, 2019

Do I need to wait until after the 30th to file . I did receive a notice from USCIS letting me know that my 90days clock is approaching and the consequences of not filing on time.

You can file 90 days before it expires.

Never ending story part II:

My ROC packet got rejected on August 8th. We filed within the 90 day window so I'm not sure what it could be. I got a case number and it says that my petition was improperly filed. What could be wrong?
