Good News

After getting worried that other cases in the same batch as mine with the same filing dates were getting approved from about 3 weeks ago, even some batches after mine got approved last week but my case status remained the same until yesterday when I received the 'Card in Production' email. I received another update today saying 'Case Approved'.
Almost 20 months of waiting

8/28/2019 YSC 1990447XXX. 10 year Green Card approved 4/9/2021 and received via USPS Priority Mail on 4/14/2021.  No interview.  The wait is over.  It will be your turn soon!

Am praying for mine to be the same way have waiting for 1 years and few months now nothing changed sense I filled last year but praying to God for some good news between congratulations on Gc.

I am having similar situation. my 18 month are ending in June 2021, my Driving license is going to be expired with that as it was extended till June 2021 bases on I751 18 month extension.

Hi All,

today i received again new update, case transfered to another office. this has been second time case transfered. First time it transfered. I got RFE. I replied the documents in jan11, now i receieved again similar update.

 

I am not sure whats going on ?

FInally yesterday i got update 

Application Type: I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

 

This took 2 years from i file petition to remove. Already 5 years going to be for  my GC in nov 2022.  

Also once we get my GC. We are are planning to file for citizenship. So how exaclt cizitizenship process will take time. Also, For citizenship interview do my wife also need to appear in interview or it is just for me?

File for naturalization (n400 form) under 5 year rule if you are that close to the green card anniversary, marriage will not be part of the n400 process under the 5 year rule and will be a cleaner, easier and faster application to process. You can file a n400 after the 90 days before your 5th anniversary of your original green card’s issue date, so in just a month or two.

Spouses do not typically go to n400 interviews in any case but under the 5 year rule there is no need for them to be there at all.

Finally my GC on hand, now i am heading towards the N400 forum and figure out how process works :). It was long journey... Another journey towards n400 now begins.. All the best everyone.
