Anyone with a Receipt number beginning with MSC? What service center does that mean?

The last status at of Feb is that an interview will be scheduled but no information since then :(

That's National Benefits Center (NBC). That's the center that prepares cases for interviews. Because of the pandemic it'll likely take a loooong while before you'll receive an interview appontment.

There is an MSC/NBC thread in this subforum, you'll find a lot of 2018 and early 2019 filers still waiting for interviews.

Any one with case start on  letters MSC , (MSC is NBC which is in Missouri ) has any update ?, I'm still stuck on  "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" since 02/12/20.

My  Roc timeline:

08/16/19  sent I-751 packet to USCIS Lockbox in Dallas

08/21/19  packet received by USCIS

08/21/19: received text message with case number ( Texas Service Center)

08/23/19: received extension letter in the mail

08/30/19 received fingerprint appointment letter

09/17/19  fingerprint appointment day (done)

09/24/19  fingerprint review completed

Wondering the same.

We are August filers as well. Had my Biometrics appointment in November.

We checked status online last week to discover that our case was forwarded for interview scheduling on May 5th. We have yet to receive an interview appointment. I suspect that will come any day now and if so, it looks as though the 18 month wait timeline we were given will be significantly less?

I assume you're talking about the status that says "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview". Timewise that status update means nothing, it only means that NBC is done with the pre-processing (background checks, security checks etc). Your case will then sit there and collect dust until your local field office has time to schedule you for an interview. So now it all depends on what kind of processing times your local field office has. Many wait for many months and well over a year to receive an interview date. Some wait for several years.

It's not until the status changes to "interview has been scheduled" that you should start checking your mailbox for the interview letter.
