Hi!

ROC Timeline:

8/7/2019 - Submitted ROC jointly

8/12/2019 - NOA

9/24/2019 - Biometrics Appointment (NYC)

5/12/2020 - Submitted N400 online

6/15/2019 - Received email of ROC processing action:

"There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.

Receipt Number: EAC19901*****

Application Type: I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE

Your Case Status: Initial Review

On June 15, 2020, we transferred your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number EAC19901*****, to another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice. The notice explains why we transferred your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by July 15, 2020, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

Does this automatically mean that either we would need to provide additional evidence or that we would need to be interviewed for the ROC?

no. When I applied, same thing happened as they are going to do combined interview. You need to prepare any new evidence like bank statements from when you applied for naturalization till the interview date.

Thank you. Hopefully everything goes well. How long usually is the wait time for the interview? Since I applied for my N400 online, I can see my estimated completion date. It says March 2021 (9 months). Is there a chance it can be earlier or later?

It depends on your local city and state. For NY, LA, SF it’s obviously longer than for some small cities...

Thanks

Since December 2019,  My case is ready to be scheduled for interview. No status change ever since. Will the case status change if they really schedule an interview? So I know to expect a letter. I filed my application in August 2019.  (National Benefits Center Local Office:Atlanta GA)
