I adjusted from F-1. As for the RFE, I sent in around the end of Oct and they updated my case status on November 8th and said “on November 1st, we received your response to RFE”. Then on November 14th, it changed to “ready to be scheduled”.

 

My RFE was about my birth certificate, because I’m from China and there’s specific form of certificate (Notarial Certificate of Birth) they wanted me to submit.

Oh I'm also adjusting from F-1. I'm just getting a bit impatient is all. My RFE asked for the proof that my income was/is from a legal source (which they were, and I included proof in the original submission). I sent it in December 2. They acknowledged that they received my response on December 4, and then radio silence for 40 days now. 

 

I just hope they did not restart my clock on processing, because my EAD would be cutting very, very close with my OPT expiration date. I think i will wait until the 60-day mark and contact them.

Hi, 

 

does anyone know what is the difference between NBC and lets say California Service Center in respect to EAD processing? On the USCIS processing time site you find for both EAD c9. I thought all c9 related to family-based AOS will be processed in NBC?!?

Hi all just received my interview letter. I have several questions:

1) in the letter I am required to bring Government issued photo identification, such as driving license or ID. May I know is this refer to US Driving License or Real ID Card? Do i have to apply dl or real ID before the interview? i am confused...Or I can bring along my home-country ID?

2) the medical examination (I-693) - I have submitted DS3025 when i applied for AOS I-485 (applied from K1). My vaccination date done for K1 Visa was in Jan 2019. My current interview date is in mid of Feb. Do i have to re-do all the health screening?

Oh no I will Pray that it comes soon for you! I was expecting to wait another few months at least for mines! What is your local office? Do you already have a job lined up?

1-bring your passport from your issuing country, also bring your EAD combo card if you have it

 

2-you should not have to redo it since it was submitted within a year of entry

How much time after your status changed to "ready to be scheduled for an interview " did you wait for the EAD to be approved? I'm so discouraged... Called USCIS yesterday(again) and they said I have to wait 7 1/2 months to even file an inquiry
