@MrsH23 and @Redvan I am on the same boat. My PD is Aug 6 2019. Updated to the case ready to be scheduled for interview 3 weeks ago and no movement. It hit 153 days and no update on EAD. I really need the EAD to be approved soon as I will lose my job if it doesn't come on time. Lots of reasons to be anxious, but sending positive energy for all of us. 🌻

I hope that you will get it. I soon!

They received my second request for evidence for my 485 just over a week ago, my 765 is still at expedite request information received which was 24 days ago. Was suppose to start work today if I was to receive EAD which I submitted expedite request well over a month ago, work start date has been pushed back to the 21st January and I don’t think they will push it back anymore than this and I will lose the position. Do you think it’s worth calling USCIS sometime this week and following up on this? Thanks.

Got min pushed back 6 times now... I hope your future employer will value you as much and understand the situation. Wish you the best.

It's been 90+ days since we got the 'Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview' status online. It's been difficult waiting but my wife's EAD is on the way so hopefully she can get started with working, getting a driver's license, etc. in the meantime. For us, the biggest thing was her not being able to drive or work which will hopefully change soon with the EAD. Fingers crossed all of our cases start moving soon.

Hey, out of curiosity, why is your wife not able to drive? Does she have a license from another country? I did and where I'm from it should be valid here but I also got an international license just in case.

Just called USCIS today and provided them with my new start date regarding my expedite request for EAD they said I should receive a response in 5 days via email so hopefully it’s good news fingers crossed as I need to get out the house been here for 7 months now and it’s driving me insane.

Today we had our Interview. We are August Fillers. We had our interview in Boston, MA.

Our appointment was at 2:30pm but we arrived early because we were both nervous. We arrived about 1:30pm but was told that we couldn't check in until a half an hour before. We checked in at 2pm.

Once checked in, they called us up to a window for my husband (beneficiary) to get his fingerprints and to take a picture of him. After that was completed, she told us what door to wait near. At about 2:40pm we got called in by my Husband's name (which was strange because everyone else was getting called by a number). I asked if I could join and she said yes.

She had him raise his right hand and swear he was telling the truth. She only went over our i-485 packet about our names, DOB, address, and a few of the yes or no questions (have you committed a crime, prostitution, any arrests, hurting or killing people, espionage, ). She did not ask any other questions and did not ask to see any other documentation besides his passport.

I am the petitioner (USC) and didn't get asked a single  question. I ended up answering one of his and she told me only he can answer. We were done by 2:45pm and she told us she approved us and we should be getting a card in the mail in 2 weeks. At 3pm, I got an Email that a new card was being produced on the USCIS website.

I don't think this is the norm based on reading every other single review of the Boston Office and that she didn't want to see any evidence or ask me any questions. I did see other couples get called in separately though. She just said we will need evidence at our 2 year interview.

Congratulations!!!!

I have to say EAD/AP processing really makes no sense to me.  I get that interview scheduling is local office dependent but that shouldn't apply to NBC processing for EAD/AP.  Does anyone have any idea why there is such disparity in processing times?  I think there are some June filers still waiting, while some September filers already have theirs in hand.

It's probably like going to the supermarket, you all end up in different checkout lines and some move faster than others.  Your case could end up on the desk of someone who is off sick for two weeks whilst someone else gets lucky and ends up being worked by someone super efficient.

It seems strange that you would need an EAD for a drivers license, is it a prerequisite in the state you're in?  I certainly didn't need one for WA.
