Hi Yu Q,

I'm also a filer in Denver and on an oddly similar timeline to you. I filed beginning of October, did my biometric in October 31, got an RFIE for my work authorization (the intending immigrant) 1 month later (beginning of December), and now I'm on a waiting game until the next move. I just want to say thank you for your comments and suggestions for Denver filers like me.

Did you adjust from K-1 or F-1/B-1, and if it's not too intrusive, may I ask what was your RFE about, and how long after you responded that the USCIS moved forward with your case?

Hi Vanessa,

I’m glad it helped!!

I adjusted from F-1. As for the RFE, I sent in around the end of Oct and they updated my case status on November 8th and said “on November 1st, we received your response to RFE”. Then on November 14th, it changed to “ready to be scheduled”.

My RFE was about my birth certificate, because I’m from China and there’s specific form of certificate (Notarial Certificate of Birth) they wanted me to submit.

Interview scheduled for January 28th at 7.10am(!) in Denver! At least we are early so hopefully don’t have to wait too long to be seen :)

@Yu Q we’ve decided that given the time of our interview we‘ll drive there. We’ll allow plenty of time for traffic on Arapahoe! Thanks for your advice.

I’m wondering if I should call and see what’s taking so long I mean it does say that newark is taking 10.5 to 24 months but everyone else seems to be getting their EAD at least

@MrsH23 and @Redvan I am on the same boat. My PD is Aug 6 2019. Updated to the case ready to be scheduled for interview 3 weeks ago and no movement. It hit 153 days and no update on EAD. I really need the EAD to be approved soon as I will lose my job if it doesn't come on time. Lots of reasons to be anxious, but sending positive energy for all of us. 🌻

I have to say EAD/AP processing really makes no sense to me.  I get that interview scheduling is local office dependent but that shouldn't apply to NBC processing for EAD/AP.  Does anyone have any idea why there is such disparity in processing times?  I think there are some June filers still waiting, while some September filers already have theirs in hand.

It's been 90+ days since we got the 'Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview' status online. It's been difficult waiting but my wife's EAD is on the way so hopefully she can get started with working, getting a driver's license, etc. in the meantime. For us, the biggest thing was her not being able to drive or work which will hopefully change soon with the EAD. Fingers crossed all of our cases start moving soon.

They received my second request for evidence for my 485 just over a week ago, my 765 is still at expedite request information received which was 24 days ago. Was suppose to start work today if I was to receive EAD which I submitted expedite request well over a month ago, work start date has been pushed back to the 21st January and I don’t think they will push it back anymore than this and I will lose the position. Do you think it’s worth calling USCIS sometime this week and following up on this? Thanks.

there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it, although I have a theory that the ones approved early are for field offices that are already relatively quick, which when you think about it, seems a bit backwards. I would think the slower offices should get their cards faster. They didnt even ask for my wife's card, but the officer did mention that it helps to make the aos approval faster if that part is already approved. probably due to the background checks already being completed....

at any rate, here is hoping for everyone to start getting through the pipeline this year in a fast efficient manner

RoC sent 10/30/21

NOA 11/16/21

Check Cashed 11/18/21
