Just had my interview this morning and here’s my experience:

we had a 10:00 appointment and was called into her office at 10:10. The IO was very professional and kind and that helped my nervousness. In the beginning she said if there’s anything I’d like to show that’s not in the original file, so I gave her bunch of photos (around 70 and she took them all) and life insurance stuff.

As for questions:

She first asked my husband questions: what’s your spouse name, DOB, parents name, have we had any children, or romantically with anyone after marriage.

Then she turned to me asked: Spouse’s information, have I met his parents, their names. She then asked my have I ever been kicked out of school (I was on f1 visa). Next she went over some yes or no questions, and that was it.

In the end, she said “I’ll look over the stuff you brought today and if everything looks good, you should expect your green card next month”.

She did not give us an answer right away, nor did she give us a 120-day paper either.

i just hope everything went well because I thought if you don’t get approved on spot, you’ll get a 120-day paper.

Thank you Calendula. First let me ask what is a tier 1 representative? Yes, the RFE is for my AOS.... It would make me feel so good if I receive that EAD

I'm waiting for my EAD too !
A tier 1 representative is the person you're gonna have on the phone while calling USCIS. They answer following a script, but if your case is not covered by their script, they will transfer your call to a tier 2 representative who will be more able to answer to your questions :)

Again thank you, like me I know many of you are new to the whole process. Do you know how to go about medical?I didn’t submit it with my application and I don’t want to do it too soon for fear of it getting expired before an interview.

I started doing it the day I got my interview notice. Took me about a week to get the final signed I-693.

For vaccines if you do it at your own doctor’s place, it should be cheaper and insurance should cover some of it if not all. But if you do it at the immigration doctor’s place, it usually is much more expensive and do not take insurance. As for specific price, I’m not sure. I can only give you example of mine: I needed one shot of MMR and immigration doc was charging for $250 and I went to Walgreens, they wanted $109 but insurance covered it all.

for the actual physical exam, mine was $225

Was there plenty of parking at the Denver office? I’m waiting for my interview notice to arrive in the mail. We’re brand new to Denver so we were considering just getting an Uber to the office so we didn’t have any stress of finding the place or finding a parking space 😂

Parking was okay, we didn't have trouble to park. There were at least 4 or 5 available on the last row, but we got greedy and wanted to see if there's any closer ones (lol), luckily there was one right in front of the door (we just got lucky, wouldn't suggest it if you are in a hurry).

Even though if there's not parking in the parking lot, there's plenty street parking around tbh so i dont gonna be a problem. However, depends on the road condition and your interview time, you might want to leave early because if it's near rush hour, Arapahoe road can be really busy and slow, so you can leave yourself enough time and not stressed out!

Good luck to you!
