Thank you for the information, I made an expedite request over the phone today with USCIS the lady said I will receive a letter in 5 days requesting for evidence which I currently have a job offer so hopefully I can get the card soon

I checked online and they sent me request for initial evidence. I’m freaking out what it could be. Initial means something was missing, right? Do they still distinguish between initial and additional evidence ?

Yes it is something that is missing. Don't worry too much...I also received an RFIE last month and it was for me to send my I-130A which I already submitted initially with my application package.  So I assumed they misplaced it or something. 

You can look through what you sent and see if you missed something, if not then it's probably something they misplaced...Happens ALOT

It is of little practical use to try to guess about the reason for the RFE, it only tends to cause anxiety. You really have to wait to see what the actual official notice is all about. Hopefully, it will be something that is easily remedied and promptly corrected. 

 

While you are waiting,  It helps the VJ stats stay relevant.

It will always be a request for initial evidence. They just need something else from you, don’t freak out.
