Absolutely agree with you there, there isn't anything nearby here which is my old job but hopefully it comes across as transferable as it is!

@LukeU had a RFE and has the card being produced. I also had an RFE, but I haven’t had any updates yet on the EAD.

Update:

20th November :
EAD - Card in Production

 

22th November:
EAD - Case Was Approved
EAD - Card was Mailed to Me
AP - Case was Approved

 

No update since 22nd November, still waiting on Card was picked up by USPS update, even checked with USCIS Emma and there is no tracking number yet and nothing on informed delivery, hopefully it gets dispatched today

17 Minutes ago received message saying my case has an update, then checked the case tracker, “interview was scheduled on Nov 25th”!!!!

Just saw this.. Might be useful for someone who has expedited the case and looking for answers..

After you file an expedite....

USCIS will email you the results of your expedite request. If the expedite is approved, it is normally processed within 3-7 days of the request, and the Employment Authorization Document (EAD) arrives within normal mailing time. You may not work until the EAD arrives. If the expedite is denied, your application will be returned to the queue where it was before.

Yes, us. RFIE was issued on 10/01, response received about 2 weeks later. Interview ready as of 10/30, EAD/AP approved 11/22

Yeah, I got a RFIE on Oct 4th, and sent out the evidence on Oct 31st. EAD/AP approved on Nov. 22nd. Hope this helps and good luck to you!

Also a funny thing that the last person I got on the phone told me when I called USCIS last week : "I would advise you to look up your case numbers at least once a month" ...
I'm looking them up several times a day 😂
