Hey everyone!

 

I officially received my RFIE hard copy in the mail today and I was hoping someone could help me out about what I should submit. The letter is saying that my husband's income did not meet 125 percent of the federal poverty guideline... But his income is well above it. What additional information should I submit if his tax returns weren't enough the first time? Anyone have a similar situation?

What did you submit initially along with his tax returns?

Initially we submitted his 2018 IRS transcripts and his passport biopage, which is what we were adviced to submit.

I submitted the following with the Affidavit of Support......so this might help.

 

Copy of Passport of US citizen spouse (sponsor) with biographical page

Internal Revenue Service tax return transcripts for 2018, 2017 and 2016

Employment verification letter

Paystubs for May 2019 to August 2019

He would have to show evidence of his current income since it is well above the poverty guidelines. Evidence such as 6 months of pay stubs and employment letter highlighting his annual income.

If his income for 2018 was not enough, I would suggest to possibly get a Joint sponsor also. My spouse's income was not enough on her tax return also in 2018 and I had my mother-in-law be my Joint sponsor just in case. Even though my spouse's current income now is well above the poverty guidelines.

Another week, nothing. Calling both uscis and Msp offices on Monday before I lose my mind.

Did you send the supporting documents that proves the source of income. My husband's income was low, so we had a co sponsor and We sent pay stub of last 1 month and w2 of co sponsor according to our lawyer's suggestion  and we had no RFE and now case is ready to be scheduled for interview.

Wanted to quickly check that if anyone has an idea about how much longer does one have to wait for the EAD to be in hand. Got an update saying the expedite request was approved today. Wanted to get your thoughts on the same. Thanks!

I’ve just moved from Georgia to Colorado. Notified USCIS of my address change 2 weeks ago and used their online chat to check if it had been updated to which they responded that it wouldn’t be updated for 30 days. Case has been ready to schedule for interview since 10/24. I was hoping I’d at least be in the queue for Colorado now but appears my case is still in Georgia. 
 

On a funny note - on our drive across the country we actually drove past Lee’s Summit, MO. Oh how I wanted to go and visit the NBC and get them to hurry my case up 😂

Quick update - my case tracker app updated yest, for EAD it says 'card was mailed to me' and for AP it says 'case was approved'

Hi everyone ,i hope your cases are moving faster , this week my I 765 suddenly started moving they just sent my EAD card cant believe it finally will get a job hope you guys get some news this week still dont get my interview letter,only say ready for schedule interview
