As of today, our interview is scheduled. Jacksonville, FL office. Waiting for our date in the mail.

How long did it take for them to schedule your interview?

Got a RFIE letter today. They are asking for the long version of my wife's Birth Certificate.

We got the same RFIE as yours.

The letter says “USCIS will only accept a long-form birth certificate which lists at least one parent.” We already sent my husband’s birth certificate that has the names of BOTH his parents 😅 but the original certificate was longer than regular paper. We’re planning to go to Staples to have it copied to full length.

Did you already send yours?

AOS sent - 08/24/19

Notice date - 09/03/19

Biometrics done - 10/09/19

RFIE letter received - 10/21/19

Looks like they’ve received our response. I use the old website as it’s far more likely to be updated. Hopefully our next updates come soon!

Anyone in this thread adjusting from anything but the k1? I’m from esta and most profiles I click on here are adjusting from K1. Just wanted to know how other people’s timelines are looking as I see some of the k1 people are getting interview dates :D

Any one tried to expedite their work authorization or travel document? What does that mean approves?

How do you do it? And what makes you qualify for expediting? Tx

See I often saw people saying that when we initially filed the K1, yet on the old website our K1 case number still says "we have received your case" and I've been here 5 months now 🤷‍♂️

Let's hope we're getting scheduled before 2020!

Just a warning: be careful about shipping your docs via USPS 🙄 We paid for Express 2 Day shipping with tracking for our RFIE response, which was sent out last Wednesday. Supposed to arrive by Friday. Well, it's Tuesday now and apparently USPS lost it, and refuse to refund us until they "investigate". They said they'd call us back with an update in two hours (this was yesterday) and never called us.

So we're shipping another copy via private courier today.

Adjustment of Status (from F-1)

8-23-19: NOA1

9-17-19: Biometrics

10-10-19: RFIE

11-07-19: Ready to be Scheduled for Interview

11-12-19: Scheduled for Interview

12-18-19: Interview

12-20-19: Approved!
