I just got a letter saying:

”an initial review of evidence submitted with your form I-485 determined that the evidence submitted with your application is deficient for the following reasons :

the civil surgeon certified the exam more than 60 days before the date the applicant filed form I-485”

i expected this letter anyway. As I made a silly mistake and the medical done in advance and then they changed it from 1 year to 60 days. I just expected it before they sent the interview notice but it does say I should bring this to my interview so i don’t have to send anything to them yet :)

Also, everyone who has received the interview notice did you happen to see any threads where people say how long they waited before getting their actual interview date in the mail?

i read on here that they are processing things fast but then I read on other threads that you could still wait months and months before receiving your interview date.

Ahhhh, when did they change it from 1 year to 60 days. I did not know this so I guess I will get the same.

In order to rectify this, will we have to get another medical done here?

I think they changed it in November 2018. Oops! It does say on the letter tho that you shouldn’t send any documents as this could delay your case so I think it’ll mention it again on the interview letter and then you just take it to the interview with you. Also, if you go back to the place you had it done before it shouldn’t cost as much. I called and the place I went to said this happens all the time so it’ll be 150 rather than the initial 400 I paid.
