I got my medical for K1 Visa done in November 2018, got married and filed for AOS in June 2019 (NYC Manhattan). Since Manhattan filed office is really slow, the interview will probably be in 2020 or 2021. I had filed a completed DS-3025 with my AOS application, my question is will I need to get another medical done before my interview?

What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical examination overseas?
  Form I-693 Instructions 07/15/19 Page 7 of 12

If you were admitted as a:
A. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or
B. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and
C. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then:
(1) You are not required to have another medical examination as long as you file your Form I-485 within one year of an overseas medical examination; and
(a) The panel physician did not find a class A medical condition during your overseas examination; or
(b) The panel physician did find a class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility, and
you have complied with the terms and conditions of the waiver.
(2) Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will need to have the Part 10. Vaccination Record completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you must submit Parts 1. - 5., 7., and 10.
of Form I-693.

as long as you meet the conditions above, just take your DS-3025 (Vaccination Record) from your medical in your home country with you to your interview and you will be okay.

I filed in August 2019 and my biometrics is this Friday. Any idea when my travel permit could come??

EAD/AP processing times aren't very consistent. We filed in April and my wife got her combo card on Monday (so a little over 5 months from NOA1), but there are still people from much earlier waiting.

I'm wondering the same. We didn't get the text but got the letter on 9/12 that said our actual NOA date was 9/5. We still haven't gotten a letter with an appointment date for our biometrics.

Does anyone also know if this biometrics appointment date/time is located anywhere other than the mailed letter we're waiting on?

It would be in a separate mail, 1 week after NOA1 for my case😀

Anyway, update for my case. Biometric done today in ASC Cleveland office. Appointment was at 3pm, we got there at 2.30pm. No one else before us so they directly processed mine. Very efficient, 10 mins in and out.

Waiting time for the next step, hopefully no RFE🙏🏻🙏🏻

@Helenlc

There's a possibility that you might get the letter before this week runs out. Or maybe early next week....
