Filed on the  8/23/19  and at 12:45am this morning 11 text messages over the span of an hour and a half !!! for 5 NOA numbers I'm guessing its automatically sent once the check clears as the check cleared just before.... but why they had to send some of the NOA text 3 times and at that time in the morning who knows!

We, myself and my K2 teen son, had biometrics on 09/04/2019. All 6 our petitions are on the 'new' USCIS website under my account, which in respect of the two I-485s and two I-765s now says that the review of our fingerprints was completed on 09/05/2019 and USCIS are working on petitions at the location (MSC in our case). I-131 appears to not be associated with fingerprints. No notifications whatsoever to email or text.

Only after our I-129F was approved I started receiving monthly 'No news, we are still working on your petition' emails. Imagine me getting the first one while the case was already at the embassy and I thought something went wrong. The last one came on 06/19/2019, two days before my trip to the USA and 8 days before my wedding. Strange enough, I stopped getting them.

I use my NY driver’s license. But you can also use your passport or state ID if you have one.

I would carry my I-797 received after filing AOS.........

Can you get a driver's license in NY without EAD? Or did you already receive your EAD?

This varies state by state. I cannot get a license in Michigan until I get my EAD

I already had a license (got while I had my J1 visa). You can get a special license in CA and NY just approved it as well.

It’s technically for undocumented immigrants but in the DMV’s eyes we are in sort of a grey area until we receive an EAD or green card.

But I believe you wont get any questions asked if you use your passport to travel. But like someone mentioned before, I would travel with every documentation I have (Like your I-797)

You can find more info about the NY license here:

Hope this helps!!
