Yes, it had expired. They will be able to do a 180 day licence from the i-485 NOA date. Probably only until February now if you are an August filer, but better than nothing.

Thank you so much for the information I have been lax with this portion of the process and I'm just trying to gather as many documents as I can. Does anyone have a example of an affidavit that shows we are staying in someone's house we don't pay the utilities directly and things like that

Congratulations, what is your priority/NOA1 date?

Can I ask how do you get these notices?

I hear people are looking at a site? Sorry I am a little unaware of this.

Thanks for the help.

You should receive a notice in the mail - but you can also view information online at https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Yes there’s two websites you can check, as well as an app you can use.

The websites are:

https://my.uscis.gov
&

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

The app is called Lawfully

https://www.lawfully.com

This app will give you the information that appears on the second app I linked. Sometimes people get updates in one link and not the others.

The app will give you an estimate for when if thinks you application will be approved. It seems to be sort of accurate as it predicted that first week of August application would most likely be approved in late November.

Definitely normal. You won’t hear anything until you’ve been Scheduled. Where are you located?.

Hey Guys! Quick question!

I've finally had my biometrics appointment today after waiting for more than 3 months. During the appointment I thought the would need fingerprints for all of my fingers.

However, they've only took the fingerprint of my right hand index finger. I've noticed that the biometrics letter says the code is 2.

I was wondering if anyone had similar experience? Thanks!

My Timeline (St. Louis, MO):

08/22 Mailed packet

08/23 USCIS received

08/27 NOA

09/25 Call USCIS for service inquiry (Biometrics Letter), never got the answer

10/14 RFIE

10/29 RFIE Received

11/05 Call USCIS again for service inquiry (Biometrics Letter), never got the answer

11/29 Biometrics Letter Received

12/09 Biometrics appointment (Code 2). They've only taken my index finger's fingerprint

12/13 Another Biometrics Letter Received (Code 3)

12/20 EAD Card is being produced

12/24 Biometrics Appointment scheduled -> Cancelled due to executive order

12/30 EAD Card Received

01/08 Supposedly the rescheduled biometrics appointment, but couldn't make it.

01/15 Did the Walk-in Biometrics!

01/21 Status changed to "Ready to be interviewed"

01/22 Status changed to "Interview was scheduled"

02/26 Green Card Interview & Approved!

I got an ID by showing mobile bills and USPS address change and also the NOA1 of my AOS and maybe I was lucky or the clerk was super nice and understanding but they gave me a federal ID
