It doesn't make anything void. Stop giving out incorrect information. It is upto USCIS to decide if it is a valid reason to expedite or not. Everyone does show 125% mark when they have a job, when they loose a job due to any reason like medical, it doesn't void it because it's temporary. I have seen lots of expedite requests being approved for that reason itself, it just needs to be compelling enough and genuine. That being said, expediting this late is not worth the effort.

Relax

Very jealous, my NOA date is 3 days after yours. Hoping for something next week

I am sure you will hear something.

Hopeful that we get EAD before the interview so we can take it with us. The interview is on Dec 3.

Hey @Cata&Ben, we have similar NOA dates. When did USCIS get your RFE back and get your case scheduled? We should both have work permits next week :D

Yes :)

USICS received my RFIE on the 18th of October.

I am hoping that my interview will be schedule by this week or during next week.

Happy if I get my EAD by next week.

Afternoon everyone, so I have currently been offered a job with a company and they would like me to start on the 23rd December I am still waiting for my work authorisation and adjustment of status interview? Should I go straight away and contact USCIS and try and expedite my work authorisation do you think it will come in before 23rd December if I do? Thanks.

This is a difficult question.

If you are based in Boston, there is a probability you get the AOS interview by the end of december.

And as we see here with few people receiving their EAD, you migth receive an EAD by next week

However, there is not guarantee.

I have seen people requesting an expedite of EAD based on a job offer, and they have gotten it pretty quickly.

You may say your company needs you to work by the 23th of december and send a expedite letter to USCIS with the request.

You can make the expedite request by phone as well, but then you need to wait for them to review your case, ask for evidences, etc. and it might take one week. This comment is based on what I have read about this issue. My advice is that if you do the expedite by phone make a strong concrete case. You can do the expedite via ASKEmma as well.
