That's what I did and apparently it was good enough for my wife to get her K-1 in 2004.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

Can I just print the evidence photos off on my printer?
Of course. What make you think your printer is in adequate? Hypothetically, if you were going to do some fancy photoshop work to get around having photos of each other together, it can still be printed both at home and professionally because of digital printing.

Thanks guys, I certainly appreciate your replies.

After the many trips I've made to visit them I've got several thousand photos and about 1/2 are of them and us together.

My time is limited this time of the year due to my business and I'm having to work when I can to finishing everything up for the K-1 while I wait on their new photos to get here.

I'm very familiar with photoshop, illustrator, coreldraw9, autocad, cabinet vision ..blah blah blah  so maybe I can make my $29.95 wallyworld printer print a decent photo :o

I had read somewhere else where it wasn't wise to print your photos on a printer, but seriously guys, I thank you for your replies.

Your $29.95 Wallyworld printer has $45 worth of ink in it. Instead of resizing, retouching, reshaping, relighting your 500 photos of you with the girls, then printing them out on your home computer, (and using $45 worth of ink) pick your favorite two or three from each trip, add them to a CD or upload them at WalMart.com, then go pick them up an hour later.

I burned a CD, went to WalMart, and had them print out 16 photos from my lone trip to Moscow. I had three copies of each one printed. I sent one set in with the K-1, kept one set for myself in my "K-1 copy folder" and sent one set to the ol' lady in her "K-1 copy folder". The 48 pictures cost me a grand total of $9.12 to print out.

You can print them on your computer and send them in like that. There's nothing wrong with that. But, if you print them out at the store, it's a helluva lot easier to get "sets" of pics, and there's the "real picture" aspect to them.

When you print them out on your home computer, it's less personal to someone viewing them that doesn't know you. They're not looking at "pictures", they're looking at "pictures somebody printed off of their computer." Anyone can snap 1000 digital photos and print out the ones that look the best. But, when you take "real pictures", you're saying that moment was so special that you had to waste one of your 24 shots to get it. Remember when we used to take "real pictures?" We actually passed on some things because we didn't have enough film to capture everything. That made those pictures more special, and that's what people who don't know you get a feel for when they hold "real pictures" in their hands.

So, take 12-18 photos that show you guys together (they don't even have to be that good. Ours had "Russian smiles" in about half of them. You know, the "seriozna" look that most Russians give the camera when they're "happy"?) take them down to WalMart and get them printed out in "real pictures" then send a set in with your K-1, keep a set with your copy of the K-1, and send a set to your girl with her copy of the K-1. All the K-1 approving folks at the service centers need to see is that the two of you were together within the last two years. That's it! Having "real pictures" should clearly illustrate this.

(Also, just as a side note: If you have any pictures showing you guys together in front of time-sensitive things like billboards, movie posters, special event adverts, even something like a newspaper, that will help establish the timetable.)
