No reason. Just 'submit additional documentation of W2 for submitted tax transcripts'

Recent paystubs were sent in.

All documents say 'accepted' but got a message about W2.

Bummer, I’m hoping I don’t get the same message 😔 but now I know to gather them just in case. Are you going to submit the w2 for just the most recent tax transcript?

Yea because only the most recent transcript was submitted. This sucks but at least all other docs were submitted. *shrugs*

When was your original submission? I’ve also seen that the wait for approval after resubmission most of the time is shorter than another 3 weeks, so I hope that is the same for you!

I submitted my 2018 Wage and Income transcript along with my 2018 tax return. My taxes were approved the week after I submitted everything so those were my only options. I’m curious though if they will use the wage and income transcript in place of the w2, or if they will still come back asking for it. I can submit more documents now, but ideally didn’t want to start the clock over. Does anyone have any information or suggestions?

thanks in advance.

Your wage and income transcript obtains the W-2 and Tax Statement on it. No?

I think it should be okay!

There is no point in starting the clock over unless they ask something of you, just hope for the best and the worst thing they can do is ask you for more information.

I found this forum very helpful!

Yes It does, so yes exactly hoping it’s all good. Thank you for the reassurance, I’ll just keep waiting!

We got our case number!!

Quick question, who needs to pay the fees? My spouse (petitioner) or me? So happy!!

From what I've seen, it doesn't matter who pays the fees. However, it needs to come from a US checking or savings account using the routing and account number. Personal or business account, either or is just fine.

Is anyone else waiting to be documentarily qualified? Would you mind sharing the date you received your NVC case number and the date you submitted the last of all your documents? My NOA2 was 5/31 and I received my case number on 7/18. Fees were paid 7/18 and showed paid on CEAC on 7/23. Docs for the AOS were submitted 7/23 and IV documents submitted 7/24.

I received case number 6/14, submitted 6/23, got rfe 7/17 and resubmitted 7/18. Waiting to hear back.

My birth certificate wasn't right side up apparently. It opened right side up for me though so I don't know what happened. I rescanned it but just sucks something like that is making me wait another 3 weeks. Make sure your docs are right side up everyone!

Did you save it as a jpeg? I know jpegs will sometimes orientate themselves in different directions. PDF is always the way to go...

Best of luck!

Hello. How do you get prepared as far as uploading docs on NVC stage? Please give me some insight of the organizational part of it. I heard u have to get it to 2mb. How did you get prepared with the uploads. I pretty much have an idea but my head is all over the place right now and I feel unorganized. Please advise.

It was a .jpg. I submitted a .pdf version of it this time only because I wanted to submit a different scanned version of it. Thanks, I didn’t know that.
