Salam Guys,

We submitted all documents ( both Civil and AOs) on 12th August, and just got RFE says as below:

I-864 Form:

All pages of the I-864 must be submitted even if they are blank. Please replace this form with all the pages.

Police Certificate:

Part of this document is missing in the scan. Please replace this with a scan that shows the complete text of the document.

But they were complete in the scan, i don't understand why they are rejecting!- so should i just resubmit them or what? please advice, thanks.

At least you got a fast response. I submitted on the 11th and nothing yet.

Hi everyone

me and my husband are on our 4th RFE..... We filed with a lawyer and we keep getting the RFE's over the same one document (a tax paper of my american husband). The rfe seems to be the lawyers fault (they uploaded it wrong way the first time, then the 2nd time they sent in "too much" of my husbands taxes were just some of the reasons we were given by our lawyer for the RFE's etc). My husband makes more then enough money and there is nothing wrong with his stuff.

my question is

we are almost on 6 months now after sending all of our documents/all fee's paid to NVC (with all the RFE's we keep getting) we sent/paid everything to NVC begining of April here. Im from Canada and my police certificate we had to send to NVC expires within 6 months of getting it and I got my police certificate the same month we sent it to NVC. Is NVC gunna require a NEW police certificate from me if we are still waiting to hear back from them for our current RFE we just got last night in our email (which will probably be another month wait, making it 7 months since april)

I hope that made sense...

Hi everyone,

I’m frustrated with the very long wait I’ve had to get a case number made at the NVC. It was moved up to a supervisor last Thursday (8 weeks and 1 day since the packet was received from USCIS). I called on Tuesday, no case number, and the operator encouraged me to call again Friday (1 week and 1 day since it went to a supervisor). This operator told me they dropped the ball on assigning a case number and apologized, but said there’s nothing wrong with the case. So I followed his advice and called again today and still no case number. This other operator said it can take another 6 weeks, and used the term “quality control hold” and said they are looking into something. When I asked him to clarify and explained that’s not what the other operator told me, he insisted they are the same thing.

Has anybody ever had this happen (beyond estimated wait for case creation time and “quality control hold”)?

I know supervisor reviews can be a gamble from all the posts I’ve read here, but after calling the operator it was escalated without me asking or giving permission (as has happened to others here)

So basically, I am the applicant and I am in the US at the moment on holiday. we submitted all the forms in march this year and its already at the stage of submitting the IV and Civil documents. Now I have all my documents here except my Police cert and Birth Cert. Does anyone know if I can submit all forms except these and just take originals to interview in London, as I feel this process for us is going way quicker than ever expected so wasn't expecting to be in the US whilst this was going on. Yes we are very happy how quick its going with looking at similar time lines we are SO much quicker than every one else...So this is just to ask if to submit without the two forms (it has a drop down box saying not available) or wait until I get back to the UK to have all the forms.

I hope everyone else moves along as quick

You’ll get a rfe if you don’t submit those... I would submit everything together. From the website:

After you collect the financial evidence in Step 4, and supporting documents in Step 5, you must submit all of these items in ONE package to NVC. Your case may be significantly delayed if you don't submit all of your documents at the same time.

Ah yeah thank you. It’s going to be delayed just because I’ve take a holiday. Haha. But I suppose good things come to those who wait.

It would be nice to know why, did they request an expedite? Are they associated with the military? Did the person just like their name? Did they not have a lot of documents to review? etc.

We're talking a week to 10 day reviews versus 4 weeks+ for some others.

I don't think you can just request a review without reason but in this case give he's 3 weeks it might be worth while.

I called the NVC on Wednesday and was told the average time is now 4 week but they're trying to get it back to 3 weeks.

Yeah, she made it sound like the only thing I could do was wait for an email. While it's maddening, I don't think there is a justifiable reason for a review since the website says things are being processed from July 15th and earlier (even if we know this isn't true for every case).

Does anyone know if the beneficiary's country can slow down this process? I heard it can but we are again only waiting on a passport that even has English text, and all our other Macedonian documents have long been accepted .

Hi

No there are any justifiable reasons to request an expedite review, I actually spoke to a supervisor last week looking for something along those lines and I was told nothing could be done. Mindful, I have a medical reason (multiple foot fracture while visiting hubby, required surgery outside of America and 6 weeks later I am still at no weight bearing and unsure when I will be able to depend on my own for simple basic things such as driving and walking!)  to request an expedite and they simply said all that is left to do is to wait the three weeks that its taking them to review the docs.

It is frustrating seeing how there isn’t a standard process with them since someone people get review instantly while others have to wait ages to then get the dreaded rfe
