Yes you will need the petitioners divorce decree, for both the NVC and the interview.

About tax transcript, the instructions say  to submit tax transcript, and include w-2  if you filed jointly. Pay stubs and employment letter are optional, you can include them if you think they will help.

If you google "Begin national visa center" you will see the official NVC website, and there you can see everything you will need to do and every document you will need for the NVC and interview. They have instructions there for everything. I was just reading it last night since my case was approved this week :)

Thanks Iscir! Seems we have the same schedule, I just started studying the NVC website yesterday as well. We filed taxes separately as we just got married in Jan 2019. I'll tell my hubby to order the transcripts and just use that.

I'm really confused about ceac.

I was never asked to choose an agent which all the guides say I must do.

Then I finished and submit all the forms but I have no way of knowing if I'm officially done with the application process.

Then on top of that they wanted a police report from somewhere my wife has only lived for a month. Which was weird because the rules say you only need one if she's been there six months. Anyways I just ignored that and uploaded a document explaining that.

Overall I give ceac a 2/10 and am disappointed to realize that it was probably a lot worse before ceac.

what is dq?

Documentarily Qualified or "Case Closed" at the NVC, meaning you are onto the waiting stage for your interview

Anyone try calling nvc? I called last week and they told me I could call again after 3 weeks and 1 day after my submit date. Anyone know what that would accomplish?

U can request supervisor review but it’s like rolling dice. Might speed things up, might slow it down
