I don't blame him it's his personal information being handed out. . He said that's what they accepted that's what they'll get.

That's the wrong approach. If that's how he's thinking then you have a big problem. He must furnish the transcripts as requested by the embassy or you'll surely be denied. Again, NVC is different from USEM. USEM can request any additional documents in addition to what you sent to NVC or they can even deny any ones you already sent to NVC. The USEM has the final say; not NVC

Great idea! If you don't have a fax then have it sent to a local UPS/Fedex shop to hold for pickup. Nice that they sent them so fast!

He's not going to do that. It's personal information. Very personal. I wouldn't recommend that at all.

It's your call but the only other option if you need the fax and they'll walk you through their privacy practices to tell you how they will manage incoming sensitive information. Why not have them fax it direct to the attorney office for security reasons?

I get it though. I refused to hand over my social security card or let them take a copy for our marriage in India and was lucky that the judge respected my privacy and security concerns; she was satisfied viewing my original card and signed off. Thank God.

The attorney went ahead and requested them online... It will be mailed to my parents house.. it will take 5-10 days to do.. idk if they'll arrive in time☹️

Can't answer your specific question but here's some suggestions and additional info...

I see from your timeline that your working with Turkish embassy. I believe you may have a unique process required so you might start a thread post titled "Turkish Embassy/Interview Requirements" on the forum or see if you can find other experienced timelines specific to Turkey to get better help (if no one from Turkey answers on this thread).

In our case for India we uploaded all requested documents, marriage certificate, passport photos, etc. on our list and we were document qualified for interview with the embassy 4wks later. Nothing further required with NVC or CEAC website. We just complete medical, biometric and bring all the required documents.

I believe other countries have unique process (Philippines requires special form called CENOMAR, in person class and extra payments before issuing).

You can study the process steps, requirements, document checklist for interview here (scroll towards bottom of page) and you'll see a checklist you can print or matrix to reference as well: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/interview/interview-prepare/required-documents.html

Hope this helps and sorry for your frustration. This process is maddening and while we're all different and from around the world we are so very similar and connected through this journey!! 😁

You load them in the "optional document" section under the main requirements of either petitioner or applicant whichever it applies to...and add a clear title and note of what your uploading for them with detailed notes.

I can't add an image here that I snapped for you from my page so I'll see if I can attach in a private message through your profile.

You can grab the image from iCloud here:

On the contrary @melindaabdullah, there is a photograph link in the drop-down, in the principal applicant's section. Take a second look at the principal applicant's section again, you will find the photograph drop-down. Once there, you can upload up to 5 pictures of you and your spouse. I hope this helps.

Why don't you just get online versions of the transcripts and print them out instead of waiting for IRS mailing them to you? Isn't it possible?

I am sorry for not being helpful so much. I am going to have my interview in Ankara in late Sept but still haven't heard from the consulate regarding my interview or required documents. We also have uploaded joint sponsor's only 2018 tax returns because transcripts were not available at the time we uploaded our stuff. I also have not uploaded photos, phone logs, or chat messages. I was thinking of bringing some pictures to the interview in case they ask.
