WOW. At this rate, it will take 3 months to say the least for July/Aug cases then!

Hopefully things will move and nobody will have to wait this long again! 🙏

Hello everyone,

Congratulations to all visa approvals, am new to this forum. Got received the interview letter(SEPTEMBER 10) for my husband and excited and worried at the same time. Worried because am not sure what my husband needs to take with him to the interview as the interview letter doesn't specify what to bring. Any wit any ideas? Was thinking of taking all the documents submitted to NVC.

That's confusing!

I don't expect to hear anything before next Monday!

Well, I was given the IL along with a few others on the same day and my guess is that the embassy had already let the NVC know about the dates before the holidays..

Yes I think that the embassy sent the appointments to the NVC before the holiday!

I hope to hear good news by next week! 🙏

Some of the things to take can be country specific and I believe in the appointment letter there’s a link to follow for things to send to your interview

some things tho cuts across which is the beneficiary’s original civil documents n your tax transcripts (all u sent to nvc)

Does anyone know  (for IR/CR cases) if filing/priority date is a factor IN ADDITION to DQ dates?
Someone on the whatsapp group got IL yesterday with a DQ of 4/30 (CR1) but has an earlier priority date than our case (DQ on 4/29).     If that's true, then this is not made clear in any docs that I have seen.

Hey @rockvil i do not know it as a fact but the same thing happened to me. Someone that got DQ after me received IL and then i checked and has Priority date prior mine. So i guess thats how it works even if there is no docs to back it up. just based on evidence.

I hope that's true. My priority date is the earliest than anyone in my category (because we purposefully delayed some things) but I've been waiting 4 months (as of next week) for my interview. But it's Montreal...so....

Today i reveived a mail from nvc. screenshot attached. is it my passport issue authority is not eligible to issue indian passport ?E20ABE76-53B9-4DC4-B16E-8CB2F45046A1.thumb.jpeg.17cc12a05eb910e9997e85183f948585.jpeg

They need a copy of your Indian passport page scanned; front page with photo and bio info and to page with signature laid flat.

Hello,

We've been waiting 104 days and counting for my husband's interview letter since becoming documentarily qualified, and 482 since USCIS first received his petition.  Hopefully your journey will be shorter!  Good luck with expediting if you try for it!

I feel your pain. I'm May 2nd as well for the same category 😢
