I know. Tomorrow I will complete 4 months waiting for an IL..

Goodness me. Is Cairo typically this slow based on statistics? We've been consistent with IL's 3-4 weeks after CC till the end of April. All went south since then.

Typically it shouldn't have taken more than 2 months, but nobody understands what's going on!!

Same for Montreal. They were scheduling every mid month until I got CC and now they stopped. ☹️

How long?! That's ridiculous :( I'm so sorry and keeping everything crossed it'll come through soon. Which embassy are you waiting on?

Thank you, we are going through the Montreal Embassy.

Embassy provides the dates. NVC then sends IL letters accordingly.

We've had a full week off here in Bangladesh. Utterly dire.

The US Embassy in Dhaka was only closed for 2 days for Eid. And they have no more days off this month.

Nothing at all!!

I have no idea if we're waiting for the embassy or the NVC cause if we are waiting for the embassy they are off since last Friday for Eid vacation, but they will start working again tomorrow!

I got my IL during eid and my embassy was closed... It says the interview date was issued by the NVC (according to the embassy's dates)
