First, she didn't lie about her race to get to Harvard. That has been thoroughly debunked, and it's not hard to find out how it's not true. From the Boston Globe:

At every step of her remarkable rise in the legal profession, the people responsible for hiring her saw her as a white woman.

The Globe examined hundreds of documents, many of them never before available, and reached out to all 52 of the law professors who are still living and were eligible to be in that Pound Hall room at Harvard Law School. Some are Warren’s allies. Others are not. Thirty-one agreed to talk to the Globe — including the law professor who was, at the time, in charge of recruiting minority faculty. Trump has lied somewhere in his life, therefore its perfectly okay for Democrat politicians to adopt the ethnicities of minorities for personal gain and even weaponize it. I mean come on, who hasn't done this a time or ten? Tomayto, Tomahto.

regardless if it was to get into harvard or not, lying about your race (especially as a liberal who claims to be more "woke" and progressive than others, who constantly shame conservatives for being racist) is one of the most disingenuous and phony things to do. That is why these democrats are even having some of their further left colleagues go against them, because they claim to be ABOVE the grain, and are time and time again proven to be liars, and potentially racists themselves. And I am definitely not a conservative/trump supporter saying this.

That's not what was being raised by the other poster. He/she said Warren lied to get an advantage to get to Harvard. That Globe article shows that just isn't true. The other poster even came back to move the goalposts about the issue!!!

Just because some MDL academic person said so. The fact she appropriated another cultural race to her advantage is not in doubt. The President of the Ukraine said there was no quid pro quo .That makes it so, right ?

Not only did Warren lie about her race to get herself into Harvard, but Harvard used that lie to benefit their own image as well.

 

Instead of Native American being a distinct ethnic background, having its own subcultures, worthy of respect for distinct reasons, it simply became a title to adopt when not achieving something worthwhile, a cudgel to use against people to facilitate getting one's way. This, is the garbage woke "culture" has pulled endlessly over the last decade.

So... just because the people who interviewed her for a job as a professor said her race/ethnicity wasn't an issue that was discussed that means we should discount what they say? I mean, who else could say this but the people who were in charge of hiring?
