Why does that upset you? I happen to find Tulsi Gabbard an attractive woman. And she obviously knows she is, based on how she presents. You only need google her bikini photos to know this is an image she is not only willing to convey, but actively encourages. But I find her politics abhorrent. What's wrong with that? Must I find her physically ugly just because her politics are ugly? That's what liberals do, not me.

So........ she's ASKING for it? Because she's beautiful? And I do think she is beautiful. But those bikini pictures are not REAL. The real ones of her surfing? She's wearing appropriate apparel. All she is doing by "presenting" (whatever) the way she is, is respecting her body by taking care of it. She works out, has her hair done, dresses well, and her makeup is on point. It's not for you, Boris. What, do you have a private Tulsi picture stash or something????

I never said you were going to rape her. Please don't slander me here, Boris. And yes, "appropriate apparel" for SURFING. I'm not body shaming her. I think she's very fit, not that it means anything what I think. I think she respects her body. She looks strong and powerful. And if she were wearing a thong, I'd respect her choice to do that. Personally, wearing a thong is something I will not do in public. I think it is for my husband or fiance's eyes only.

Funny, I was just thinking to myself, "Why is @laylalex slandering me? I've not done or said anything inappropriate. I think you're angry at me because I'm not demonizing Ms. Gabbard. Unlike liberals, I have nuanced views. I can abhor her political views while simultaneously appreciating her physical assets. And given that she seems to take these national opportunities to show some skin, I don't think that would bother her. So why are you bothered for her? You seem to be projecting your own insecurities on a woman who is very comfortable being both a political figure and an attractive woman. Perhaps this is even part of her campaign strategy.

I don't care if you like her or don't like her, for her politics or her body or whatever. What I am upset about is your FIXATING on how she looks. Where are these "national opportunities to show some skin" -- what skin was she showing last night? The tiny amount above her camisole? Really? 

 

I am bothered for her because I don't like the objectification of women. I have been objectified myself, more than once in the past, by men I don't know and men I do. Men I trusted with my heart. And it turned out what was going on in my head wasn't as interesting as they said it was. How would you like it if a woman talked a good game about how smart you are, how accomplished, and then you find out she only wants you for how you look? Wouldn't it cheapen it, even just a little?

 

And no, I am not going to show you a picture of me in a thong. Jeez. I already told you that.

I think I like it -- do you have any thoughts? It's making this evening less painful -- my MIL-to-be has already told me to my face that she was disappointed in how I treated my ex... even though this means that since I'm no longer with him, I can make her son happy. Also, she asked me if a prenup was absolutely necessary, and if it is, could I please make some sort of promise to her to keep the family home standing? Alex was mortified and then his sister piped up that I did treat my ex rather poorly, even if it is to her benefit, and it wasn't fair that I got all that money in the divorce and that it was my separate property that Al couldn't touch. And I was like, are you reading up on California divorce law? And she just laughed and said MAYBE! 😧

 

Anyway, I am now hiding from everyone in the library with some of this and I think I rather like it!

Oh, I think the link may not work because it might require you to be in the UK. No crystal tumbler, sorry -- I'm having it out of a pottery mug (I did not argue with the MIL to be when she gave it to me).
