Well, from what I was able to see of the debate this morning (I caught the first couple of hours in two chunks), it looks to me that Elizabeth Warren is now the frontrunner, or everyone is treating her that way. I'm still not decided, but she's definitely on my shortlist.  Made another donation last night to her campaign, also to Gabbard and Mayor Pete.

On-topic: Biden has neutralized himself, thanks to his Ukrainian corruption scandal. He was really the only candidate who had a solid shot at Trump, although that was a long shot at best. Warren seems to be the front-runner now, but can you seriously see her on a debate stage with Mr. Trump? She has no stamina, avoids answering any question with a direct answer, and claims to have a plan for everything, but actually has specifics on nothing. The President will tear her apart. The Democrats have no ideas beyond increasing your taxes to give layabouts free whatever. Oh and impeachment.

"Female card"? What the hell is a "female card"? And anyway, it was all a big joke between us. He's always pretending to be this unreconstructed brute because it's the exact opposite of what he is, and how people expect him to be.

I agree that Biden is now out of the race -- that was a very sad way to see him fade away. I never would have voted for him but he just seemed to lose a lot of his dignity. Personally, I cannot wait to see Warren onstage with Trump! I think she will look her usual competent self, composed, speaking in full sentences, full paragraphs even!  It will be a great contrast with Trump and his rambling. He may try to tear her apart but I think he's just going to look even more deranged and scattered than he does now.

It will be like watching the smart kid beating up on the "challenged" kid, even if she gets the answers ahead of time, which is very likely. These people cannot compete on an even playing field.

Haha, very funny. How would your "lady from the North" feel if she knew that you were objectifying a woman like Gabbard? That you were saying these things? I know Scottish women (I'm currently stuck in a house with two of them up here) and I tend to think they are kind of "no funny business" on average.
