In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

One is always free to apply.

Specifics matter - what is the medical urgency right now? What do the scans show? What's the prognosis? Is it terminal?

To be clear, I am not asking for this information here. It's questions that should be addressed in any expedite request, though.

If they removed the kidney it didn't return,  it's a new tumor. I had a kidney removed last year and was back to work in a month, I was super lucky. You might wish to see what the prognosis is before consumating the visa, if the 2nd kidney fails or is removed you are looking at lifelong dialysis, immigration is hard enough without adding such s life altering situation such as thrice weekly 3-4 hour sessiond. Not trying to dissuade you, doubt I could, but it will be difficult for you both. I wish you luck in anything you cjoose

It is possible to expedite the process at USCIS if you mean the requirements.  You were already given a link to USCIS for this.

Once past USCIS there is little where an expedite would actually speed things up with the K-1.

At NVC for the K-1 the case file number is assigned, then the file is forwarded to the embassy in Manila.   To speed things up email NVC to get your MNL#, once you get the email reply (only send one email NVC will not reply until the case file has been shipped to the embassy) the beneficiary will need a copy to bring to St. Luke's for the medical.

Info for emailing NVC:  https://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/nvc.html

Once at the embassy things can move almost as fast as you can get the requirements completed.

Info on the process in the Philippines:   https://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/us-embassy-usem.html

And don't forget CFO:  https://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/cfo.html

Once you get to the actual visa application phase jump over to the Philippines forum:  https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

At this stage (based on recent trends) an expedite request for the petition might actually slow the petition approval down

YMMV

Have the Dr write how it's for emotional support and we'll being, try to get to the touchy feely stuff, care can be done by anyone, support requires connection and closeness
