Because the OP ask for them to be deleted. If asked we (moderators) delete them no questions asked. The problem is since everything is gone there is no way to notify the forum of the request to have the thread deleted.

 

There have been some good threads with good information that got deleted, unfortunately, but we have to respect the wishes of the thread originator.

 

Another reason for a deletion would be for a huge TOS violation. But those instances are few and far in between.

 

Threads are never deleted arbitrarily.

It would be nice if Captain Ewok could code the "hot Topic" list to remove deleted threads.......

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
