My driver's license will expire the same day as my 2-year Green Card. Is it possible to renew my licence with the extension letter from the USCIS? I don't know how long they'll process my other Green Card. Pennsylvania here.

Each state is different,  a review of Pennsylvania driving laws is warranted

YMMV

That's a good question......they SHOULD, I believe, since your Green Card does not really expire until 18 months after the card date...but ........Please let us know if you succeed.....

I called DMV Monday morning. The woman I talked to was very rude. She said, the extension paper I have is not valid. I gotta have my new Green Card or a stamp on my visa on my passport. I don't have a visa on my passport. She hang up on me because I asked her why is the extension invalid when it's machine readable. Right after that call, I called the USCIS customer service. I explained everything. The lady was very nice and helpful. She said that my extension paper is enough to get my licensed renew but if the DMV are being a bunch of d*cks, I can go to the Pittsburgh office and have my passport stamped just to make them happy. She made a note for the Pittsburgh office to call me for the appointment. Yesterday, I received a call from the Pittsburgh office. I explained everything. The gentleman said, the woman I talked to didn't know what she's talking about. He gave me a number to call. He said, I don't need a stamp on my passport because my extension paper is good enough. I called the other number. The gentleman said the same thing. My extension paper is good enough and the woman didn't know what she's talking about. He said, go to the DMV and if they make any fuss, call them again and they'll straighten everything up. I couldn't be more thankful to all those federal employees. Very helpful and kind.
