No snow anywhere except on the mountain we live on lol

Interview took less than 10 minutes, approved and now waiting for the oath appointment 😁

@trudi Did you also have a pending 751 as well? We’re still waiting for a decision but I see you were in Charlotte also and were approved the same day. My husband passed the civics test and they did a combo interview. And she took his additional documents/evidence he brought. I think we submitted good evidence of bonafide marriage. Thinking out loud, wondering what the hold up could be🤷🏽‍♀️. I suspect it’s bc we have a 15 year age difference but if they had an issue, I was there in the waiting room and they only interviewed him alone. Hopeful it’ll come soon.

Hi

I deliberately waited for the 10 yr card to arrive before applying, didn't want any more delay (and that took FOREVER!)

I'm sure the delay is purely the backlog for I751 my Hope you hear soon, maybe we'll be at the same oath ceremony :)

(Still waiting for my date)

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

I-751 is still a rock tied to my feet. Been pending since Sept 2018, just got transferred to Lee's Summit, MO but I live in California. N-400 is steaming ahead, Tier II says to expect an interview in April. I hope so because my lawful status runs out in May (I-751 will expire).

Will be glad to get off the immigration merry-go-round once and for all. Endless stress.

Your timeline is very similar to mine. I live in the bay area. I sent my I-751 in Sep 2018 and N-400 in August 2019. My I-751 will expire in May 2020 as well. The I-751 case was transferred to Lee's Summit MO in Oct 2019.

The USCIS website says estimated case completion time is August 2020.

I totally feel your stress. Good luck to us!

Yeah I went for the interview today at the uscis office in centennial colorado. I was scheduled for 9am but I got there early but was able to get in at 8.20am , I checked in after going through the security. Then I was told to sit and wait for my name , I was called in at 8.46am, raised hand up and swear . Then he asked me 6 questions , who is my state senator? How many amendments do we have ? What's the capital of the United state? Who was the president during world war 1 ? Who is my representative representing my city in the house ? The movement that stopped slavery ? After I passed these six questions ,he asked me a question on the tablet in front of me , who was Abraham Lincoln, and he told me to read the question out then told me to write the answer on the tablet. Then he proceeded  to the yes or no questions, then he  to verified my former addresses and current one with me, then I signed somethings on the tablet. After he gave me a piece of paper saying have been approved.  I asked him regarding the same day naturalization  ceremony in Denver and he said they have stopped it but he said there is a ceremony coming up in 2 weeks and he will sign me up for it, and his sure I will be part of it. He told me that I will get the oath ceremony notice in the mail on or before the end of next week. I left the place at 9.15am . I'm glad its almost over .
