I just did my interview in Memphis on Monroe. The entire staff are very friendly. Security was laughing and joking with my husband. I waited about 45 minutes after my interview time before being called back.

The woman interviewing me was very sweet and kind and had me calm before we even started.

Told me I had this.😊

I was approved. My oath will be in Memphis because she said the wait in little rock is longer.

So far everyone I've dealt with in this process are very kind.

Good luck on your interview! You got this!

My GC is expiring August of 2020 so I decided to apply for citizenship.

I filled out an online application on August 20th.

Biometrics scheduled on August 24th.

Biometrics done September 9th

Interview scheduled on September 12th

Interview to take place October 17th

With an estimated completion date of December 2019.

Buffalo NY office.

I answered no to q23 at the time I filled out my application, and Ive just now realized(after reading these forums) I should've answered yes,  as I've gotten a couple traffic tickets over the past 17yrs Ive been here. Whoops.

Don't know if that will change my completion timeline... Fingers crossed that it'll be no biggie as long as I correct myself at the interview next week.

Do we know if the interviews will not be scheduled prior to completing 5 years?  Daughter did finger printing same day as my wife and I but her interview has not been scheduled yet where my wife and I have it scheduled for 10/30 and 10/31.  Daughter completes 5 years on 11/19 and so may be the KC office is not scheduling interviews for 11/19 or later just yet.

Just wanted to update my case.

My appt was @ 1045. I checked in at 1040.

Was called in at 1045.

My interview took about 10-15mins.

The officer that interviewed me didn't care about my traffic citation.

She asked me if I was available for the oath ceremony on 10/31/2019.

I said yes.

I guess that's it.

Congratulations

That is correct. I called and was told my case is in transit to Denver. Looks like the mix up had to do with how they read my address. I filled out "El Paso" county as part of my address ( along with city, state and zip code).

Good news!!! My case was eventually transferred to the Denver field office. I received a call from USCIS on October 10, asking me if I will be available to attend a N-400 interview on October 17th in military base close to the city I live in. I accepted, and they confirmed my email address so they could email me a PDF copy of the interview notice. I told them I had a pending I-751 and they said it will be a combo interview, so I should come with my wife. I received an interview notice in my email 5 minutes after the call and also my case status online (my.uscis.gov) changed to "We Scheduled your Interview".

The interview went quite well. First was the I-751 interview, lasted for around 5 minutes. The officer basically went through our application and supporting documents. She did not ask for any more supporting documents. She told me she was going to recommend that the application be approved and then ushered my wife out of the room.

For N-400 interview, she began by going through my application and asking random questions. We then moved on to the Yes/No questions I answered on the form and then the Civics/American history/Government Questions:

1.Who is the commander in chief?

2. How many Senators are there?

3. Name one native American tribe

4. When do we celebrate Independence?

5. What did the emancipation declaration do?

6.How many states are there

I was then showed a sentence on a tablet to read and then she read out a sentence for me to write down on the tablet. She told me I passed but she would need supervisor approval.

On October 25th, my N-400 case status on my.uscis.gov changed to "We approved your application"(on egov.USCIS.gov, it says "Case was Submitted For Quality Review Based on an Approval Recommendation") while my I-751 status changed to "Interview was completed and case must be reviewed" on egov.USCIS.gov ( my.uscis.gov still says "We received your case"):( .

Today, October 28th, I received an I-751 approval notice in the mail. It reads: " We have approved your I-751 , Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence. Our records also indicate we have approved your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. Because we also approved your N-400, you will not receive a new Permanent Resident Card (also known as a Green Card). Instead, once you have taken the Oath of Allegiance, you will receive a Certificate of Naturalization, which will be proof of your U.S citizenship. If you have questions regarding this process, please contact the USCIS Contact Center at 800-375-5283."

I will provide more updates as I get them.
