Did you filed under 5 years or you have been a GC holder for more than 5 years?

Good and bad news for me. Saw my interview letter for October 30th on the website and it's in El Paso, Texas. I live in Colorado. The closest field office to me is in Denver, Colorado. I don't know why they scheduled an interview in El Paso, Texas. I called the USCIS number and they were also surprised. They said they are gonna have to send an email to the El Paso field office to transfer my file to Denver field office. Process usually takes 2 weeks. I will call them back in 2 weeks. Fingers crossed.

Hi @Kante. Congrats on your interview.  Just want to let you know that USCIS has new policy update regarding N400 and I485 interview. Please read on link below. Since June 2019, they started scheduling applicants to appear for an interview at a field office outside of their normal jurisdiction. You can check the full policy below.

You are welcome @Kante. I think it is not a mistake. So you should decide if you wanna fly to El Paso for your interview and finish with this or ask CIS to reschedule your appointment at your local office in Denver which might cause additional dealys.
