Texas service center did not pick up my package?!?!?!

Hello,

I sent the package to remove the conditions of my residency on wednesday. I chose to send certified mail just to make sure it got to them and also to have proof that i sent it in case it got lost.

But now, I went to the us postal service website to check if it got to them...and it says they left a notice because noone picked it up. I am guessing that because it is a P.O. box....thats why noone was there to pick it up and sign it.

They left the notice yesterday and noone has gone today (i suposse because it is saturday)to pick it up to the usps office. I am worried that this package is not going to get to them.

Does any of you know if this is normal?? Do they go pick up things like this to the usps office or they don't bother?

Please any advice?

Jan 31st 08 Got email saying my case was transfered from TSC to VSC.....will be scheduled for interview....

Feb 04 last update online.

Waiting...

07/08/08 Green card ordered! No interview!

Waiting for card...

Card arrived and done for a while...

Now: Dual citizenship?

I am hearing an echo today, If the mail shows up at the post office after USCIS picks up the mail they will report missed pickup on USPS website, THIS IS NORMAL, and happens on Saturdays, check the site later Monday afternoon.

Oh ok, sorry I didnt see the other posts. Actually, it happened on a Friday, yesperday. But I guess it makes sense, it problably got there after they got their mail :) that makes me feel such a big relief. I will check the usps website on Monday.

Same thing happened to me when I sent my AOS package (which had me all set to drive to Mesquite, TX to stick it in someone's hand directly) but rest assured they did pick up in a couple of days... :)

AOS: ND - June 5 2006 | RFE - June 15 2006 | FP Notice - June 30 (Rescheduled to Sept 16) | AP ND - August 14 2006| Walk-in FP - Sept 5 (FP cleared next day!) | Interview - Sept 8 2006 (Approved!) | Welcome Letter - Sept 13 | EAD received - Sept 19 (kinda moot since I'm waiting for GC) | GC received - Sept 23 2006 - Woohoo!!

I just saw today that the package got to them. Now I am waiting on them to cash the check...then I'll be waiting on them to send me letters, then biometrics then... thenn thennnnnnnnnnnnnn...... there is always something to wait for from USCIS. I am tired of waiting. We always have to wait looooonngg months to know whats going on with our case. I don't like this. But!! I'll be worth it at the end :D
