Hi,

I recently returned to PH to get married, me and my spouse was filing up the form I-130. I already have my Alien registration card and Number, Is the Social Security number also required?

I still haven't applied for the Social Security number.

Thank You.

I’m a bit confused by who

is the beneficiary and who is the petitioner ... but I am assuming you , the OP , are the petitioner, you are an LPR and you have your green card but no SSN yet ...

No, it is not required. If you  do not have one yet , leave it blank.

How are you able to work in the US (and therefore sponsor an immigrant) without an SSN??
