I wonder what the exact numbers of polled students and their reactions were... Is appears not unlikely that the media company would only demonstrate polls that support the company's views.

 

Also, I wish the journalist conducting polls would specify that Mr. Trump's administration focused on the deportation of innocent aliens and not the criminal aliens.

Of course they are going to focus on those that didn’t realize Obama said the quote.  The sad thing is that I am sure it was not hard to find them on any university campus today.

 

Additionally, if you actually read the President Obama quote, he focused on all.  There were plenty of stories of innocent illegal immigrants being deported, or deportation proceedings being initiated under President Obama.  The point is that back a few years ago, the Democrats shared the same position as President Trump.

Say WhAt?!?

What is an “innocent alien”?  One who applies thru normal channels to immigrate here, and continues to not break the laws of the US.  AKA a legal immigrant.  If Trump were deporting legal immigrants, it would be all over the news and everyone here would be upset about it.

You do read things other than pro Trump pieces right?  How do you frame a story that begins "Son of racist president ... "

That's why there should be actual numbers with proportions of student reactions. In research, it's not possible to only present the data that supports the hypothesis and exclude any other pieces of evidence.

By the way, I am not claiming that it's just Fox. I doubt any media is free of data misrepresentation.

I wish those kids had more critical and independent thinking ability. But they are in the college so they are working on it!
